Alyssa Sandford is a multimedia creator based in the GTA that has always had a passion for the outdoors and the arts. Caring for animals has been a major part of her life, and she has worked with hundreds of different species to date.
This love for all living things has inspired her to pursue the world of conservation and science communication, and she is a recent graduate of the Environmental Visual Communication program at the Royal Ontario Museum through Fleming College. Combining this course with the skills learned during her undergrad in Interactive Media Design at Durham College, she aspires to provide opportunities for others to experience nature in a way that is more accessible.
Through photography, videography, and emerging technologies and platforms, she is hoping to bridge the gap between people and nature in a sustainable way.
